Practical Questions

How it works, in plain language.

Pricing, scheduling, wine, coverage, changes and cancellation.

01 / Booking & payment
How is field work priced?

Members receive our rate card at their onboarding briefing. Each activation is quoted at a fixed price, and you approve the exact scope and cost before any work begins.

Do I need a membership to book field work?

Yes. Field work is available to wineries with an active $150/month New York Desk. Membership is month-to-month.

How do I pay?

When you start your membership or approve an activation, we send a payment request. Online checkout isn't available yet.

Does booking confirm my date?

No. A booking starts the work; dates, venues and buyer meetings are confirmed with you and the venue first. Payment never confirms a date by itself.

Can the cost change after I approve it?

Not within the approved scope. Anything beyond it - extra time, expenses, wine, venues - is approved by you first, with a separate payment request.

Do you guarantee results?

No. We never guarantee a specific retailer, date, buyer meeting, placement, order or sales result. You receive an honest report of what happened.

02 / Scheduling
How much notice do you need?

Tastings, staff trainings and buyer visits are requested seven days ahead; hosted dinners three weeks ahead. Shorter notice is considered when feasible.

How do I choose dates?

Share up to three preferred dates and times for each activity, or a target window such as May-June 2027 for a seasonal campaign. Each activity is scheduled individually. All times are New York time.

03 / Wine & supplies
Is wine included?

No. Bottles are supplied by the winery or distributor, or funded through a confirmed arrangement. They are never part of a service price.

Who provides glasses, food and service staff?

Retailers provide tasting cups. For dinners, the restaurant provides service staff, food and pouring, and sells the tickets.

04 / Where we work
Which areas do you cover?

Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester and anywhere else need a separately confirmed scope.

05 / Changes & reschedules
Can I reschedule?

Yes - one free reschedule you request with at least 72 hours' notice, subject to availability. Later changes may carry unrecoverable costs we have already committed, which we disclose to you.

What if a venue won't agree?

If no venue agrees within your intended window, we contact you to agree a new window, a different activation, or a refund. Nothing is left unaddressed.

06 / Membership & cancellation
Is there an annual commitment?

No. Membership is month-to-month. Cancel any time: renewal stops at your next billing date and access continues to the end of the paid period.

What if my membership ends before my campaign?

Keep membership active through your planned campaign. If it would lapse before scheduled work, we offer to continue it or to cancel that work, with refunds reflecting work already done and costs already committed - never automatic forfeiture.

What if a venue delays a confirmed activity?

If a venue delays a confirmed activity past your membership end, we still deliver it and its report without another membership charge. This covers venue delays of confirmed work, not new bookings after membership ends.

07 / Language
Can we work in Italian?

Yes - Italian-language support uses live translation technology, arranged when you ask in advance.

A plain-language summary of how we operate, not a legal contract. Something not covered? Ask us.
